Alumni Awards

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT and LEADERSHIP

Each year, the Edmond J Safra Visiting Nurse Faculty Program selects an alumni of the program to receive an award for outstanding achievement in improving the lives of those living with Parkinson’s disease or in recognition of leadership and innovation in nursing education leading to improved care for those with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers. One awardee from all the national sites is selected to be honored and to receive a monetary stipend. Consideration is based on the independent project and continued involvement in Parkinson’s Disease in the community or within the alumni’s affiliated nursing school.
